Bitcoin Whitepaper

Tribute to Bitcoin

We all know October 31st is the day we celebrate Halloween. What a lot of people don’t know it is also, depending on who you ask, is the day we were given a second chance or it’s a countdown for ticking time bomb.

Someone nicknamed Satoshi Nakamoto has published a Whitepaper called “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” on the cryptography mailing list.

The ideas in the Whitepaper were built on previous works in this electronic cash space. Nevertheless it gave roots for the movement that I think in some groups, became a religion is a new paradigm as opposed to how the current financial system is setup. Some might argue that it has been hijacked by the large financial institutions, and the ruling elites but I can agree that the attempts have been made. It is the alternative to the current monetary system which gives common folk a chance in the gloom future certain groups with power and influence, try to force us into. Satoshi Nakomoto was sure to share the first prototype on January 8th. Who would have known how this started the phenomena we are witnessing today.

This is a tribute to this day and to this person/group. I am proud that I can relate to these times and look forward to contributing to the cause and how it is changing our society as we know it into something that will allow the majority to not only survive but also prosper.

I want to emphasize that publishing the paper on October 31 is a peculiar choice in itself knowing the precursor of Halloween aka. Samhain and its relationship to the “Night of the Wild Hunt”…

In any case, my small contribution to the bitcoin is to republish the Whitepaper:
